The dates are in – and if you’re part of the Orange family, you’ll want to get this one in the diary.

Our 2026 Orange Campers’ summer campout is happening from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June, and we’re heading back to a place that’s become a bit of a tradition for us now.
If you’ve been before, you’ll already know what it’s all about. And if you haven’t – this is your invite to be part of one of our favourite weekends of the year!
We’re heading back once again to Bank House Farm on the edge of the Peak District. After the last couple of years there, it’s safe to say it’s become a bit of a tradition for us, as it just works perfectly for what we want.
We’ll have the upper field to ourselves, with space for around 20 campervans, giving us the perfect setting for a proper Orange get-together.
If you’d like a feel for what it’s like, have a read of last year’s round-up. It’ll give you a good idea of the kind of weekend we’re talking about.

What to expect at the Orange Campers' campout
If you’ve never been to anything like this before, don’t worry, everyone says the same thing before their first one, and then by the end of the weekend, they’re already asking about next year!
We like to keep things relaxed on purpose: there’s no strict itinerary, no pressure to be anywhere at a certain time, and you can join in as much or as little as you like.
That said, there are always a few moments that bring everyone together.
On the Friday night, we usually head over to the Manifold Inn, which is right opposite the campsite. It’s a great way to start the weekend and get to know everyone properly.

Then on the Saturday evening, we tend to have a big barbecue, with everyone gathering round, sharing food, having a drink, and just enjoying being out in the sun (fingers crossed!). It’s always one of the highlights of the weekend.
During the day on Saturday, some people head out for walks or bike rides, others explore the local area, and some are more than happy just staying on site with a brew in hand. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.
The kids usually end up making their own fun as well. In previous years, we’ve had football matches, cricket in the field, and plenty of running about.
We always try to pick a location with plenty going on nearby, too. There are beautiful walks straight from the campsite, cycle trails, and even a local cheese shop not too far away, which has become a bit of a favourite.
It’s all about the people
One of the best parts of the campout is getting to spend time with other Orange owners!
You’ll meet people who’ve just picked up their ‘van and are on their very first trips, as well as those who’ve been touring for years. Everyone brings something different, and everyone is always happy to share their experiences.
It’s also a great chance to have a proper look around other ‘vans and the different layouts. Even though they all start from the same place, no two are the same once they’ve been tailored to suit how people use them.
You’ll pick up loads of ideas, whether that’s clever storage, layout tweaks, or just little things that make day-to-day life in a ‘van that bit easier.
We (Richard and Sonya) will be there all weekend as well, so if you’ve got any questions or you’ve been thinking about making changes to your own ‘van, it’s a great time to chat things through properly.

A proper orange welcome
The campout is always just for Orange owners, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. It’s part of being in the Orange family, and every year we genuinely look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and those joining us for the very first time.
It’s a really friendly, easy-going atmosphere – some people come on their own, some come as couples, and plenty bring the whole family along. Dogs are more than welcome too.
You don’t need to worry about knowing anyone before you arrive. Just come along, get settled, and it won’t take long before you’re chatting to someone over a brew.
We started these campouts because we love hearing how people are using their ‘vans and the difference it’s made to their lives. That sense of community is a big part of what Orange Campers is all about.
