Micro Campervans for sale:

Compact camperS,
built for adventure
Our micro campervans for sale are handcrafted to order in our Yorkshire workshop, on your choice of base vehicles – either nearly new or brand new.
With compact dimensions of only 4.96 metres long and 1.93 metres high (including pop top), the Micro Camper is all about everyday usability: your daily drive through the week, then packed up and ready for weekends away or longer trips.
It's ideal as a starter 'van for couples, solo travellers and first-time owners, or for anyone downsizing who doesn't want to compromise on a high-quality build.
And because every 'van is handcrafted by our family-led team (and put to the test by us first), you're getting more than a campervan conversion. You're getting quality in every detail, and care that continues long after you drive away.

Giving you loads more usable space than you’d normally expect in a Micro camper. It really opens the ‘van up and makes it feel much more practical day to day.

Our client Richard D spent years hiring and trying different 'vans from different converters before choosing his Micro Camper — and what won him over wasn't price alone, but value: a 'van that felt right both as a camper and as a daily drive, with a low height that slips under car park barriers and a build he trusted to last.

Why buy an Orange Campers Micro Camper?
Handcrafted, not mass-produced
We build a small number of 'vans each year, so every single one gets the time, care and attention to detail it deserves. Every conversion is put together by hand, by people whose names you'll know by the time you collect it.
Practical layouts that work in real life
Every inch has a job to do, from the crash-tested RIB bed to storage worked into every corner. We design our layouts by using them ourselves — if it doesn't work on a wet Tuesday in the Dales, it doesn't go in the 'van.
Made for everyday use
Our micro campervan conversions are designed to be car number one, not a holiday vehicle that sits on the drive between trips.
Built for long-term ownership
Every conversion comes with our 3-year warranty, and your base vehicle is covered too: brand new vehicles carry the manufacturer's warranty, and nearly new vehicles come with a comprehensive 1-year aftermarket warranty.
Designed for real travel
Our 'vans have crossed Europe, wintered in Scotland and done a thousand dog walks. We test them on our own family trips before your build ever starts.

What makes our Micro Camper different?
Plenty of converters can list the same appliances; the difference is in how it's all put together and how it holds up years down the road.
Start with the build itself – the bed is a crash-tested RIB, because you're putting people you love in the back and it needs to be safe as well as comfortable.
The worktops, cabinetry and fittings are chosen to be lived with, not just looked at, and every joint and hinge is finished by hand.
Then there's the storage. A compact 'van only works if nothing is wasted, so we build storage into every corner — under seats, overhead, and in pockets you'll keep discovering.
It's the attention to the little things that our owners mention most, and in the rare instance you do need us, the 3-year conversion warranty has you covered – with a person who answers the phone, not a ticket queue.
Karen, one of our Micro Camper owners, put it best in her review:
"I would say that people should look at family firms and not just go to the big guns. You get to be a part of them and their brand… They love what they do and they love the camping lifestyle, which means they make great vans!"

Why our customers buy compact campervans:
The best small campervans are the ones built around how you really travel — and our owners choose compact for all sorts of reasons.
For some, it's the driving. A compact campervan handles like a car, parks where a car parks, and never leaves you sweating over a width restriction. For others it's daily life: one vehicle that does the commute, the dog walk and the weekend away.
Gemma bought her Micro Camper and put it simply:
"The road'S free for me now!"
— Gemma, Micro Camper owner
Some of our customers are downsizing from bigger vehicles, and they tell us the freedom is the point. John and Lorraine took their Micro Camper to Germany for two weeks:
"We can go to a lot of places in towns and cities that motorhomes can't, and we can do narrow single-track roads that motorhomes can't do."
— John, Micro Camper owner
And for first-time owners who want a micro campervan that won't throw them in at the deep end, the Micro Camper is the perfect starter 'van — easy to drive, easy to live with, and handcrafted to last well beyond your first chapter of campervan life.

You can have your Micro Camper completely gas free. A portable induction hob replaces the fixed gas hob, giving you a clear worktop, no bottles to refill, and cooking that works inside or out.
And if you want to take things off grid, add the Off Grid Package (£3,999 inc. VAT): a 300Ah lithium battery, 270W solar panel and an EcoFlow system that keep you going well away from hook-up.

Get up close and personal with the 'vans
Photos will only get you so far; the best way to know if an Orange Camper is your 'van is to get inside one.
Book a workshop tour and you'll see build quality you can get your hands on — 'vans at every stage of the build, so you can see exactly what goes on underneath the finish.
You'll meet the family-led team who'd be building yours, compare layouts side by side, and talk through your options with people who actually use the 'vans.
Not ready to buy a Micro Camper just yet?
No rush — it's a big decision. If you'd like to be really sure, hire a Micro Camper first and try before you buy. A weekend away tells you more than any brochure: you'll cook in it, sleep in it, park it, and find out exactly how a compact camper fits your life.
Plenty of our owners started with a hire — it's the confidence that turns "maybe" into the right decision.
