THOUGHTS FROM THE WORKSHOP

High Hopes, High Roof: What Campervan Magazine said about our High Roof MWB

We’re chuffed to bits to be featured again in Campervan Magazine – and this time it’s our Trouvaille Classique MWB High Roof campervan in the spotlight!

And what a review it is. There’s four whole pages dedicated to our latest layout, packed with praise for the clever design, thoughtful storage, and that all-important full standing height.

Here’s a little sneak peek at what they had to say (but don’t worry – we won’t spoil it all) 👇

“Orange Campers’ best all-rounder yet… practical design elements and generous storage as well as a spacious feel...”

Not bad, eh?

They had lots to say about the high roof version of our ever-popular Layout Option 2, which swaps the usual pop-top for a factory steel roof, giving you 1.9m of standing room all the time (no faffing with canvas or zips in the morning).

And they didn’t miss a trick – from the rear kitchen and toilet, to our trademark lowered cab seat bases (so your swivel seats don’t feel like bar stools), they picked up on all the thoughtful details that come from real-world camping experience.

“You can just tell that Richard uses his own campervans…”

Too right he does – and that’s exactly why the layout works so well for real people, not just for show.

They also gave a big thumbs up to the “kitchen that would shame many a larger campervan”, with its:

  • Three-burner hob

  • Optional oven or microwave

  • Hose-style tap (perfect for muddy boots or soggy dogs!)

  • 90-litre compressor fridge

  • Handy drawers, cupboards and shelves galore

There’s even space for your outdoor chairs and levelling wedges. Yep, we’ve thought of everything!

The shower is also useful for washing hair if you have the hot water option – the sink is large enough! Plus, a full shower option is currently being designed and will be coming soon.

The bed setup also got a mention – with flexible forward and sideways sliding RIB seats, you can go for twin singles or a full-width double, all without needing to use the cab seats.

And of course, it’s not just for couples – the High Roof can be specced with a Cabbunk system or optional Atek pop-top for four berths, making it a great choice for families too.

“The new layout was screaming out to become a high-top campervan for a more mainstream audience.”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
