"On reaching ‘retirement age’ I began the serious task of finding the perfect campervan for the years ahead. Having looked at many manufacturers and nothing being quite right I searched for local campervan converters and found that Orange Campers, who were very local to me, built exactly what I wanted. A short but big van using the Ducato SWB.
One of the main plans for ‘Leo’ is following the Tour de France, something my mother & stepfather did for years and we joined them on many occasions in a pop-up tent. Having our own van to park up roadside and be right next to the action is superb and keeps our memories of past years alive. I also love castles and have done many a UK road trip to visit castles in my English Castles book (37 done, LOTS to go). We also do a lot of running and cycling and having the van as a base at events or for training elsewhere is wonderful.
After three summers using our first, SWB pop-top, van we ordered the MWB pop-top for that little bit extra room and the bed layout options. We have had another two great years in ‘Leo2’ and will soon be planning the 2027 trips."

"We first found out about Orange Campers on the Internet. As we are nearby I made a visit and met Richard. I was immediately impressed with the vans.
We use our van purely for holidays which are many and frequent. We enjoy everything about campervan life. It is so easy to just go. Everything is in the van apart from clothes and fresh food. I can say nothing negative about the 'van!"

"Initially we met Orange at the Peterborough Show in ‘22. Richard was sitting in the back of the campervan, and after spending all day looking at the various campers around the show, was impressed by the space it had compared to others. It was like a ‘Tardis’ inside, it was a game-changer, and after hiring this high top for a couple of days, we fell in love with it and subsequently placed our order.
We’ve been N, S, E and W of the UK, and as Kev earlier this year had a serious operation things were on hold. When able I took up the driving, which I found effortless and it fitted perfectly into a standard parking bay, we visited a few Garden Centres with the mobility scooter for Kev whilst he was recuperating.
Our main usage has been for family and friend meet-ups, though we’ve also used it for ukulele weekends, yoga sessions, our Schoolfriend’s wedding, (changing facilities), relaxing away days, sometimes very local, shopping trips and looking forward to so much more.
So impressed with the quality, after-service care, Orange community, and passion of Richard’s coming up with so many new ideas, we have had our eyes diverted towards the new MWB Option 3, although we do love our camper so much."
