If you have been thinking about your next ‘van, or you have been keeping an eye on what we have been building behind the scenes, this is one you will not want to miss...
On Tuesday 28th April at 1pm, we are hosting a live online session, Live from Orange Campers HQ, where we will be unveiling something we have been working on for a while now.... our new medium wheelbase layout with a fixed rear bed that so many of you have been asking for!
This is your chance to get a proper look inside our latest medium wheelbase layout, ask questions as we go, and hear directly from Richard, who designs and builds our ‘vans day in, day out and has seen just about every campervan layout and real-life use case you can imagine.
And if you cannot join us live, don't worry. A full replay will be available afterwards, so you can watch it back at a time that suits you.
What to expect from the webinar
This isn't a polished showroom walkthrough or a scripted video.
You'll be joining us live inside the workshop, Richard talking you through the ‘van in real time, sharing the thinking behind every decision from years of hands-on design and build experience.
You may even spot a few familiar faces popping in along the way. Sonya, Jess and Jack will all be around on the day, so there is every chance of a surprise appearance as we go.
We want this to feel as close as possible to being here in person – just without the travel!

A first look at our brand new layout
The star of the show for the webinar is something we've been excited to share for a while now – our brand new Layout 3 for the Trouvaille Classique MWB, featuring a fixed rear bed.
This will be one of the first proper looks at the new layout with the fixed rear bed design that so many of you have been asking about!
We've spent a lot of time listening to what people find difficult with their current setups. That might be constantly making and remaking the bed, not having enough usable space during the day, or wanting something that feels more like a home from home when you are away for longer trips.
This new layout, which you can explore in more detail on our Layout 3 fixed rear bed page, has been designed to answer those challenges. With a permanent sleeping space that is always ready to use, a dedicated toilet and drying area, and a more settled overall layout, it creates a simpler and more comfortable way to travel.
During the webinar, you'll see how the space works throughout the day, how it transitions into a comfortable sleeping area, and how everything has been thought through to make life in the ‘van simpler and more enjoyable.

The thinking behind the design
As well as sharing what the new layout looks like, we'll also dive deep into why it's been designed this way.
Richard will talk you through the decisions behind the layout, what customer feedback has shaped it, and how he has approached balancing comfort, practicality and flexibility based on years of hands-on design and build experience.
At Orange Campers, innovation, design and quality sit at the heart of everything we do, and this is where you will really see that come through. Nothing is added for the sake of it – every detail has been carefully considered to make the ‘van easier to live with, day in, day out.
You'll see how that thinking plays out in areas like storage, kitchen usability, sleeping arrangements and the overall flow of the space, with Richard explaining not just what works – but why it works in real life.

Built for real life, not just for show
We'll also be showing how the ‘van works in real-life situations, not just as a static layout.
You'll get a feel for what it is like on a weekend away as a couple, how it supports longer trips, and how it holds up on those days when the weather is not quite on your side and you are spending more time inside.
We'll also touch on off-grid capability and how the ‘van supports more independent travel, including features that make it easier to stay out for longer without relying on campsites.
It's all about helping you picture what life could actually look like in the ‘van, not just what it looks like parked up.

There's more to see
Alongside the new fixed rear bed layout, Richard will also be sharing a look at some of the other latest developments here at Orange Campers.
That includes our new shower option within Layout 2, which adds even more flexibility for those wanting a fully self-contained ‘van, as well as our High Roof with Atek Pop Top, giving you additional sleeping space without compromising on standing room or storage.
It is a great opportunity to see how our range is evolving and how different layouts and features can be tailored to suit the way you want to use your ‘van.
Ask us anything
One of the things we're really looking forward to in this session is the live Q&A!
You'll be able to ask questions as we go, whether that's about the new layout, other models in the range, or anything you've been wondering about campervan ownership in general.
Richard has spent years designing and building campervans and has seen just about every layout and real-life scenario you can imagine, so there is not much he can't answer!
This is a really useful way to get clarity early on, especially if you're starting to think about your forever ‘van and want to understand what will work best for you.

What happens next
We'll also talk through what the next steps look like if you are interested in this new layout – or any of our 'vans! As always, our build slots are limited, and once they're gone, they're gone.
We'll share what availability is looking like right now and how you can take the next step if this feels like the right direction for you.
That said, the best way to properly understand any of our ‘vans is still to see them in person.
See it for yourself
The webinar is a brilliant first step, but nothing quite replaces stepping inside and experiencing the space for yourself. If what you see sparks your interest, we would always recommend coming down to the workshop. You'll be able to see builds in progress, explore different layouts, and get a real feel for the quality and thought that goes into every Orange ‘van.
Book a workshop tour, and you'll also receive a free Orange Campers mug set when you visit.
It's a relaxed, no-pressure way to take that next step and start picturing what your own ‘van could look like.
Join us live
If you would like to be part of it, make sure you register for Live from Orange Campers HQ on Tuesday 28th April at 1pm.
You'll receive a link shortly before the session begins, and then you can simply join from home and be part of the conversation. We're really looking forward to showing you what we have been working on!
