THOUGHTS FROM THE WORKSHOP

One last brew of 2026: Join us for our final coffee morning of the year

Orange Campers Coffee Morning

It’s been a big year at Orange Campers, and we’d love to round it off with a cuppa!

Our last coffee morning of 2026 is on Friday 6th November, from 10am until 1pm, and it really is the final event of the year here at HQ. Once this one’s done, we won't throw the doors open like this until 2027.

There’ll be pastries to keep you going, and the kettle will be on all morning. Our welcome area will keep everyone nice and toasty too. It’s also the last event of the year where you can book a test drive, so if you’ve been meaning to get behind the wheel of one of our ‘vans, this is a great time to do it.

A whole year of new ideas under one roof

When we sat down to plan this coffee morning, we realised how much has changed since our first one back in February!

This year we introduced our Fixed Rear Bed layout for the Trouvaille Classique MWB, along with the Atek roof, which adds a pop top to the High Roof so you get full standing height and extra sleeping space up top.

Our shower feature was also launched in our High Roof this year, and more recently we expanded the new shower pod into the Fixed Rear Bed, which has been getting a lot of attention! Every 2026 Classique MWB now comes with a 5-year conversion warranty and a 100Ah lithium battery as standard too.

On the Micro Camper side, we launched our gas free version at the start of the year. It’s the perfect starter ‘van, and it tends to feel a lot roomier in person than it does in photos.

If you’ve been following along online, you’ll have seen most of these in our YouTube videos (where we've celebrated over 2,000 subscribers!). They make even more sense when you’re stood inside one, though, and a coffee morning is a relaxed way to see how they all come together in a real ‘van.

As it’s a Friday, the workshop will be running as normal while you’re here. You’ll be able to see ‘vans being built and ask the team why things are done the way they are, which is where you really see the innovation, design and quality that go into every build.

Book a test drive at our last event of the year

You can book a test drive at our coffee mornings, and as this is our last event of 2026, it’s the last chance this year to take one out as part of a relaxed morning at HQ, with the team about and the kettle on.

November is a really good time to do it, too – most people imagine their first trip on a sunny summer’s day, but plenty of our owners use their ‘vans all year round. Taking one out on a proper autumn road, with a bit of drizzle on the windscreen, gives you a much better idea of how it would feel day to day.

A lot of people are surprised by how easy our ‘vans are to drive, especially the 5.4 metre MWB. You get lots of room inside, but it still feels compact and manageable on the road. If you’ve been wondering whether a campervan will feel too big for you, a test drive is the quickest way to find out.

If you’d like a feel for it before you come, we’ve made a video all about driving a campervan, and it’s a good one to watch with a brew:

Test drives are by request, so please let us know in advance if you’d like one. Availability depends on the workshop schedule, and booking ahead means we can set aside time for you.

If you’ve got something specific on your mind, like parking on your drive or the narrow lanes near home, mention it when you book and we’ll talk it through with you.

Don’t let the cold put you off

We know a Friday morning in November isn’t everyone’s idea of a day out, so we’ve made sure you’ll be well looked after.

Our welcome area will be warm and cosy all morning, so you can come in from the workshop, keep nice and toasty and have a sit down whenever you fancy. We’ll have pastries on, and the kettle will likely be working overtime.

You can arrive whenever suits you from 10am and stay as long as you like until 1pm. If you want to go back and have another look at a layout after a cuppa, that’s absolutely fine. It’s a lot more comfortable than walking round a showground in the wind and rain.

Come and get a feel for what Orange Campers is all about

If you’ve never been to see us before, a coffee morning is the easiest way to find out who we are before you make any decisions. It’s a relaxed morning at HQ with the people behind every ‘van we build, and there’s no pressure at all.

The whole team will be here on the day. Richard and Sonya will be around all morning, along with Jess and the workshop team who design and build every Orange camper. You can ask about anything from layouts to what ownership is really like, and you’ll be talking to the people who’ll actually be looking after you. Our promise is continuous care, long after you drive away, and it starts with getting to know each other properly.

Some of our owners might pop along too. If they do, you’ll be able to have a nosy round their ‘vans and hear how they use them, from weekends away to longer trips with the dog in tow. Community is a big part of what makes Orange Campers special, and there’s nothing quite like hearing it from someone who’s already made the choice you’re thinking about.

And then there’s Jack, our dog, who’ll be doing his usual rounds of the welcome area. He’s always up for a fuss, and we suspect he’ll be keeping a close eye on the pastries.

The 'vans you can see and drive on the day

Two of our Trouvaille Classique MWBs will be available to test drive:

The first is our Fixed Rear Bed layout, with a permanent bed at the back and plenty of storage underneath, so it's a popular choice for anyone who'd rather not make the bed up every night.

The second is our High Roof with a Pop Top, fitted with our new shower. The extra height inside gives it a very different feel from the Fixed Rear Bed layout.

Both are built on the same medium wheelbase, so whichever layout you're leaning towards, you'll come away with a good sense of how an MWB handles.

Planning your 2027 ‘van? Build slots are limited

Every Orange camper is built here at HQ, which means we only have a limited number of build slots each year. Our 2027 slots are already filling up, and when they’re taken, the next available slot moves further down the line.

That’s the main advantage of starting the conversation now rather than waiting until the new year. The earlier you talk to us, the more choice you’ll have over when your build happens, so if you’re picturing your first trip in the spring, you’ve got the best chance of making that work. It also gives you time to settle on your layout and options properly, without feeling rushed.

For many people, the Trouvaille Classique MWB ends up being their forever ‘van. If this is your first ‘van, the Micro Camper is the perfect starter ‘van. The team will be happy to talk you through current build timings on the day, so you’ll know exactly where you stand.

We’d always rather you took your time over a decision this big, but there’s no harm in getting the ball rolling while there’s still plenty of choice.

Can’t make it on the 6th?

This is our last coffee morning of 2026, but you don’t have to wait until next year to come and see us. Our workshop tours run all year round, so you can book one at a time that suits you.

You’ll see live production and have time to talk through which layout would work best for you. You can request a test drive with your tour too, so you don’t need to wait for an event to get behind the wheel. You’ll also get a free Orange Campers mug set when you book, which is our little thank you for coming to see us.

You can also keep an eye on our upcoming events page for our 2027 dates.

Book your place at our last coffee morning of the year

If you’d like to join us on Friday 6th November, we’d love to see you. Drop in any time between 10am and 1pm and take as long as you like looking around, with a brew and a pastry to keep you going.

You’re welcome to simply turn up, but booking in means we can have everything ready for you and you’ll receive a free Orange Campers mug set to take home. Don’t forget to let us know if you’d like a test drive while you’re booking.
