Open Day

We’re opening up the workshop again, and we’d love you to join us at Orange Campers HQ this September.

Our next Open Day is a relaxed Sunday at the workshop where you can come and see our campervans in person, meet the team, chat with current owners and get a real feel for what makes an Orange camper different.

You’ll be able to step inside the ‘vans, ask questions, have a brew, enjoy some picnic food and spend time working out what might suit you best.

Join us at Orange Campers HQ

🗓 Sunday 6th September

🕙 10am – 2:30pm

Whether you’re just starting to explore campervans, getting closer to choosing your forever ‘van, or you simply fancy a good campervan natter with us all, our Open Day is a lovely way to come and see us without any pressure.

It’s friendly, informal and you can have a good nosey round the demo ‘vans, meet the people who build them and chat to others who already own and use their Orange campers.

Hear from Orange Campers owners

One of the best ways to understand what Orange Campers is all about is to hear from the people who already own our ‘vans.

In this video, you’ll hear real stories from Orange Campers owners about why they chose us, what stood out to them and how they’ve found being part of the Orange family...

Not sure what an Open Day is like?

If you’d like a better idea of how the day works before you come along, we’ve already written a full guide about what to expect at an Orange Campers Open Day.

It walks you through the general feel of the day, what happens when you arrive, who you’ll meet and how to make the most of your visit.

Have a proper look around our campervans

Photos and videos are helpful, but nothing beats stepping inside a campervan and seeing how it feels for yourself!

You can sit on the seats, stand inside, open the cupboards, look at the beds, check the storage and imagine how the space would work for the way you travel.

A layout can make sense on paper, but it only properly clicks when you’re stood inside the ‘van with a brew in your hand and someone there to answer your questions.

At the Open Day, you’ll have time to look properly, ask anything you like and get a real feel for the design, innovation and quality that goes into every Orange camper.

Which campervans will be there?

We’ll have our current demo models on display, so you can compare different layouts, roof options and features in person.

You’ll be able to see the Micro Camper, which is compact, clever and a brilliant starter ‘van if you’re looking for something easy to drive and simple to use. You’ll also be able to see our gas free Micro Camper option, which has been really popular with people wanting an off-grid set-up.

You’ll also be able to see the Trouvaille Classique MWB High Roof with Atek Pop Top roof, which includes our shower feature. This layout gives you permanent standing room inside the ‘van, along with the flexibility of the pop top sleeping space above.

This can work really well for families, grandparents who’d like to take their grandchildren away, or couples who like having the choice of sleeping upstairs in warmer weather.

You’ll also be able to see our new fixed rear bed layout on the High Roof MWB.

This is a really exciting layout for anyone who likes the idea of having a permanent sleeping space at the back of the ‘van, without needing to make the bed up every night. It also gives you that separate rear sleeping and storage area, which can work really well if you’re carrying bikes, dog crates or extra kit.

We’ll be able to talk you through our latest layouts and developments, including the fixed rear bed, shower options and some of the clever storage ideas we’ve been working on.

Meet the Orange Campers team and owners

One of the best parts of an Open Day is the people you’ll meet while you’re here. You’ll be able to chat with Richard, Sonya and the rest of the Orange Campers team, as well as some of our current owners. That means you can ask the practical questions, but you can also hear what it’s really like to own and use an Orange ‘van.

Our owners have been exactly where you are now. They know what it feels like to compare layouts, think through the options and wonder which ‘van will suit you best.

They’re always happy to share their experiences, and those conversations can be incredibly helpful if you’re trying to picture what campervan ownership could look like for you.

And of course, Jack the dog will usually be around for a fuss too. He likes to keep an eye on proceedings, as you’d expect from the true boss of Orange Campers!

See how our owners use their ‘vans in real life

One of the things people often love most at our Open Days is seeing how our owners and ambassadors have set up their own Orange campers. Because it’s one thing to see a demo ‘van, but it’s another to see a camper that’s properly being used and loved!

You can see how people make the space work for them, how they’ve added their bedding, what little extras they keep on board and how they make their ‘van feel like home.

Those real-life touches can be so helpful if you’re trying to picture how you’d use your own camper. You might spot a storage idea, a cosy bedding set-up, a clever dog-friendly addition or a simple little detail that helps everything click.

Our owners and ambassadors are also brilliant people to chat to because they’ve been through the same decision-making process. They can tell you what they chose, why it works for them and what they’ve learned from actually using their ‘vans.

Enjoy a cuppa, a butty and a proper campervan chat

We want our Open Days to feel easy and welcoming from the minute you arrive. There’ll be plenty of brews, picnic food and time to chat, so you can bring your questions, your family – and your appetite!

You won’t be rushed around or pushed into anything. You can take your time, go back for another look, compare the ‘vans properly and talk through anything you’re unsure about.

It’s a relaxed way to get to know us, understand the ‘vans and see why community is such a big part of Orange Campers.

Take a test drive on the day

We’ll also be offering test drives during the Open Day, so you can get behind the wheel and see how the ‘vans feel to drive.

A lot of people are surprised by how easy they are to drive, especially the 5.4 metre MWB. It gives you extra space and comfort inside, while still feeling compact and manageable on the road.

If you’ve been wondering whether a campervan will feel too big, this is the perfect chance to find out for yourself!

Why come to Orange Campers HQ?

Visiting us at HQ gives you a much better feel for how we do things. You’re not just looking at finished campervans on a forecourt – you’re coming to the place where our ‘vans are designed, built, improved and cared for by the same team you’ll meet on the day.

Because we build in-house, we can talk you through the details and explain why things are designed the way they are, show you the options available and help you understand what would suit the way you want to use your campervan.

Our promise is continuous care, long after you drive away. That care starts from the very first conversation, and it carries on well beyond handover. It’s the little things that matter, and you’ll see plenty of those little things when you come and visit us.

Can't make the September Open Day?

If you can’t make it on Sunday 6th September, don’t worry. The best way to come and see us another time is to book a workshop tour.

A workshop tour gives you a proper look behind the scenes at Orange Campers HQ. You can see live production, look around the ‘vans, meet the team and talk through which layout might work best for you.

You’ll also get a free mug set when you book a workshop tour, which is a lovely little bonus for coming to see us.

We’ll also be sharing where you can see us at upcoming shows and events, so keep an eye on our events page if you’d like to catch us while we’re out and about.
